Four young men are all confined to a life in a wheelchair after motorcycle accidents. Decades later, they return to the saddle, and ride motorcycle quad bikes across the wild and arid heart of Australia. Visiting their accident sites along the way, they reflect on a life impacted by decisions long ago and the challenges they have faced - a life lived against the grain.
