All funds received are for the cost of providing spinal awareness sessions in remote communities and the filming of the documentary. Dependent on the funds received will determine the style of the documentary produced. A documentary to the quality required for prime time television will cost the Against the Grain team members $165,000 as budgeted by Channel 9. Whilst the Commercial stations support the content of the documentary, and agree it is a worthwhile project, we are required to fund the cost of production. The cost of the trip itself is being borne by the team members and support crew in respect to accommodation, fuel etc.
